"Whereas Anthony Delemons, Servant, unto Capt. John Sibsey hath conveyed and made away the goods of his said master, and bartered and bargained contrary to the lawes and customes of the country in that case made and provided; It is therefore ordered that he sd Anthony Delemons shall receive 30 stripes on the bare shoulders." That whereas Sarah Delamas deceased left her estate in the hands of William Boyse of Anamessick to the vallue of 4048lb of tob: apprised to tht vallue by persons ordered to apprize the Same by the Court of Accomack in virginia & yor peticioner Tho: Manloue hath marryed Jane the Sister & heir of the Sd Sarah delamas the Said estate being now in the hands of Robt Catlin executor in trust to the Sd William Boyse wch he denyeth & scrupleth to deliuer; Yor petr therefore humbly prayes yor worplls that order may be given to the Said Robert Catlin to deliver the Said estate to yor peticionr & his wife who are ready to giue their acquittance & discharge to the Said Robt Catlin upon the delivery of the Said estate to them And yor petrs shall ever Pray Tho: & Jane Manloue The plt Sues as in his peticion aboue p attorney Edwr Southrin mencioned The Deft pleades & Craueth Robert Catlin p Atr A nonsute; The Court upon serious John Avery deft Consideration orders A nonsute." The bonds of Matrimony was this day published betweene Thomas Manloue & Jane De Lamas both of this Countie as alsoe betweene Teege Riggen & Mary London both of this Countie by setting up their Names at the Courte house the time of the Court setting at A Courte helld for the Countie of Sommersett the day & yeare aboue specified."
