Rawleigh Travers, Justices Page 130 Patience BREEDEN servent to John OLDHAM being presented to this court for having a Bastard Child the court has ordered she serve her said Master or his assigns according to Act after her time by indenture custome or otherwise lawfully expired being the compensation for the trouble in his house in the time of her childbirth. This day John OLDHAM confessed judgement to the church wardens of the parish of North Farnham for the use of said parish for five hundred pounds of tobacco, being the fine for Patience BREEDON for committing the sin of Fornication. Ordered that Patience BREEDEN (by her owne consent) to serve her Master John OLDHAM or his assigns the space of one yeare after her time by Indenture Custome or otherwise lawfully expired being in Compensation for her fine for having a Bastard Child.
