Research Notes
Comments:
Mother of at least one illegitimate child by a black man. Possibly related to John Anderson, a mulatto, falsely detained as an slave in Augusta Co., Virginia in 1763, who claimed that his mother was a free white woman (Augusta Co., Virginia Order Book 7:462).
